CNC cylindrical grinder is designed with high efficiency, high accuracy and maximum operational convenience in mind.
The Mini Genie Series is designed with ultimate compact footprint. They have a floorspace requirement of less than 3 sq. m and a grinding wheel with a diameter of 405/510 mm. They are suitable for small workpiece machining.
Distance between center is 200 mm and the center height is 110/130 mm. The maximum weight of workpieces that can be processed is 20 kg.
Work Head
The work spindle designed with NN bearing offers heavy duty load capacity, high rigidity and optimal rotation accuracy. The servo motor drive offers consistent speed and torque when the grinding operation takes place.
There is a positive purge system which keeps grinding swarf and coolant out of the work head and hence ensures long lifespan.
Cross Slides
The cross slides are made out of Meehanite cast iron which has good thermostability. This helps to maintain stability during temporary temperature changes. (Roller bearing and straight lead rail with Heidenhain linear scale).
Wheel Head
NN bearing designed wheel spindle with high power motor provides the needed power to outer diameter 405 mm of wheel head and also improves processing efficiency. The angle of wheel head could be set as 0 or 20 degree.
Tailstock
Oil-bath tailstock remains lubricated which makes the machine more durable. Tailstock has a taper adjustment feature that makes workpiece setting faster.
Machine Base
Bath type of machine base is made out of Meehanite cast iron which experiences natural aging and twice stress relief. These properties make the machine base more stable and durable.
